Connecting communities with volunteer groups

Communities needed a way to easily find and connect with local volunteer groups. These volunteer groups have a lack of findability and legitimacy by the community.

This requires a central location where volunteer groups can share information about their group - giving communities access to the help/work they are doing, why, and how to contact them.

Needs

Increase community groups visibility and connection to:

Local boards
Auckland Council
Auckland Emergency Management

2. Ability for members of communities to:

Find volunteer groups nearby
Learn about the different groups
Contact and sign up to volunteer for a community group

3. Help promote:

Community groups and increase legitimacy via an official channel
Local board emergency response plans
